    Description

Aboriginal Voices of Australia – Turtle Bark Painting – The Turtle Ancestor, Tiddalick, once became so thirsty that he drank up all the water in the world. The other Animal Ancestors became thirsty and devised a plan to make Tiddalick disgorge the water. The eel made Tiddalick laugh by tickling him with his tail and out came all the waters to fill up the rivers and billabogs. Pendant is made from lead-free pewter and measures 1.25” high and .75” wide. It is strung with a cord and mounted on a card with the above narrative.
